Pro-Inflammatory Foods Affect Health, Beauty, and Fertility

Diseases which can negatively impact fertility are not excluded. Controlling inflammation is an important part of maintaining overall and gynecological health.

Not all inflammation is caused by diet, but a diet inadequate in whole foods and too high in overly processed foods certainly does play a major role in promoting inflammation. The typical American diet is full of processed foods, many of which are pro-inflammatory. Replacing pro-inflammatory foods with anti-inflammatory foods is a simple change you can make to increase your health, beauty, and fertility.

    • Soda

    • Juice Drinks
  • Foods high in added sugar like candy and desserts
  • Processed Snacks
  • Excessive Intake of Omega 6 in relation to Omega 3 intake (more on the omega 3:omega 6 ratio in another post)
    • Sunflower Oil
    • Corn Oil
    • Cottonseed Oil
    • Soybean Oil
  • Foods containing partially hydrogenated oils and trans fat (make sure to check the ingredients list not just the nutrition facts label)
  • Refined grains/ refined carbohydrates
